(Troy, Michigan) "What a great honor. It was a
great surprise and we feel very fortunate," was Christine Moss
reaction upon learning that her invention,
,
has been named as a "Top 10 Baby Product for 2005."
AmericanBaby.com
and American Baby Magazine made the selection based
upon a review of products at the annual JPMA (Juvenile Product
Manufacturers Association) trade show. The JPMA show has long
been considered "the annual show" for children's product industry.
"When I made the decision to produce
I moved forward because I thought it was a solution that solved a
universal problem facing parents. This award and the great
support of all of our retail partners and customers are indications
to me that I made the right decision. We are very honored to
be named along with the other great products identified!"

Mossworld Makes Donation On Behalf Of Customers To WIC Program
Note To Customers from Christine Moss
(Troy, Michigan) When we
were contacted by the Women with Infants and Children (WIC)
Nutritional Program for Choctaw County (Oklahoma) Health Department
about making a donation of Sippy Cups I was interested to find out
why Sippy Cups would be useful to a WIC program. Speaking to Ms.
Anna Howe-Limbaugh, WIC Director, I was surprised to learn that
continued bottle feeding of infants was a leading cause of malformed
pallets among children in her County. I guess I had heard that
prolong bottle feeding was a potential problem, but I had no idea
what a risk it was to lower-income Moms and their children.
The WIC program is nationwide initiative which
strives to
improve the health of low-income pregnant, breast-feeding, and
postpartum women, as well as infants and children up to 5 years of
age who are at nutritional risk. WIC helps prevent malnutrition by
providing food vouchers for a special package of nutritious food,
supplemented with nutrition education and referrals for additional
health care.
One of my goals when I decided to market and
sell
was to give back to kids and community on behalf
of our customers whenever possible. Over the last year, we have had
the opportunity to donate products and funds to several
organizations, but I felt this was an opportunity to get involved on
a larger basis. We hope to be able to make similar contributions
more regularly in the future.
I am pleased to announce that in early-October
we are going to be donating 1,500 Sippy Cups (one for every child
visited in the next year) on behalf of our customers for the Choctaw
County program to disburse next year. According to Ms.
Howe-Limbaugh, the Sippy Cups will be disbursed during visits to
Moms and Kids along with
toothbrushes
and other program materials. She believes the Sippy Cups will help
them discourage the overuse of bottle feeding which they now see on
a regular basis.
While the donation is modest in terms of the
overall need, we are excited to be in a position to help 1,500
families in Choctaw County, Oklahoma next year. We would like to
thank our wonderful customers for their support over the last year
which made this contribution possible.
Please feel free to contact me with any
questions via email at
cmoss@mossworld.com.
Thanks again for your support and making this contribution possible.
Sincerely,
Christine Moss
President, Mossworld Enterprises, Inc.

Christine Moss, President & Inventor of
,
announced that a new Stay Fresh Lid is now available for the
.
The new lids
are exclusively available at
www.snacktrap.com. "We received a number of requests from
Mom's for a lid to secure snacks when little ones aren't snacking
and we are happy to respond to those requests," said Moss. The
solid plastic lid (FDA approved material) snuggly fits on top of
base cups for a "air tight" seal which helps keeps snacks fresh and
secure when not little ones aren't snacking. "The lids helps
meet the demands of today's active Moms and are perfect for 'on the
go' travel," she continued. When little ones are ready to
snack, the Stay Fresh lid is easily removed and switched with the
"Snack-Trap" lid which allows infants and toddlers to snack while
minimizing spills and clean up.
"We believe the creation of the Stay
Fresh Lid transforms
into a valuable multiple-use product for Moms. Complimenting
the Snack-Trap Lid, and Sip Lid Moms now have a system which allows
them to satisfy hungry and thirsty infants and toddlers with a
universal base cup which reduce the need to carry multiple cups and
bottles with them at all times," concluded Moss.
