The DabblingMUM reviews

Reprinted with permission. As seen on The Dabbling Mum.com  - A National parenting publication for BUSY parents.

The Snack TrapI have to admit that when I first saw The Snack Trap I didn’t think it would work. After all, the lid seemed flimsy and the hole looked as though the food would just force its way out when dropped or tipped over. But I’ve dropped it, turned it upside down, and shoved my large adult hand in and out of the lid…and guess what happened? I pleasantly found the lid works! This is an amazing product and my only regret is that it wasn’t invented sooner!

Every parent’s worst nightmare is finding his/her child has stashed an entire year’s worth of finger foods under his/her car seat or having to follow that child around the house picking up the trail he/she has left behind.

While The Snack Trap™ was originally invented for toddlers, I have to admit that I find it the perfect solution for snacking at my desk! How many times have we, as adults, brought a cup of small snacks to the desk only to knock them over while looking for an item or reaching for that cup?

The next time you’re out shopping for the perfect baby shower gift, Christmas stocking stuffer, or just because gift, for a toddler in your life, buy The Snack Trap™. I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Teddy Bear Snack Trap

We all know that toddlers are messy. The Snack Trap helps minimize snack spills. The Snack Trap is a cup with two big handles on either side for easy gripping. The unique part is the patent-pending lid design that makes it easy for little ones to reach in and grab their snack.

The cups have cute animal designs to appeal to little ones. When we got our snack traps, Malcolm couldn't wait to get a snack inside his monkey cup!

These are perfect for preventing messes around the house. It'd next to impossible to keep a toddler still, even (or should we say, especially) while eating.

When Malcolm was a baby, Mom decided that there were to be no snacks in the car because she didn't want a mess.  HA! When a toddler is hungry, he's hungry and you need to give him a snack. This results in an incredibly messy car. Now, we can give Malcolm some cheerios or other snacks in his Snack TrapTM and he's a happy camper.

Specifications

Ages: 1 - 5 years old

Washing: The manufacturer does not recommend dishwashing the product, but we washed it in the dishwasher with no problem. If you prefer to stick with the manufacturer's recommendations and wash by hand, it is easy to wash and there are no hard to reach areas.

Usage: The product is good for small-sized or hard snacks like cheerios, hard crackers and cubes of cheese. It doesn't work as well for snacks like chips that break easily. It also isn't so great for blueberries or other fruits that get squished easily, but works perfectly on harder fruits like chunks of apples. There are plenty of snacks to choose from that will work perfectly.

Designs: teddy bear cowboy, monkey (Malcolm's favorite), teddy bear in wagon

Price: $4.99 (shipping of 3 or more is 1 cent within the U.S.). Order of 12 or more, receive $1 off each cup.

Ordering: Go to SnackTrap.com to order online or to find a retail store near you
