Magazine Speaks with Christine in January 2004 Issue!
"It is exciting and a little unsettling to be contacted
by
a writer to be interviewed about your efforts to be a entrepreneur
while also trying to be a mother, but when it is a writer like Jen
Singer and a organization like
Mothers & More
it is also a opportunity you can't pass up," said Christine Moss,
Inventor and President, Mossworld Enterprises, Inc. Ms. Moss
was interviewed and recently featured in the Forum
magazine published by
Mothers & More.
"Transitioning from the career world to motherhood was difficult and
left me feeling a bit isolated which I have learned is common among
career women making the transition. It meant a lot to me to be
able to share my experience of reentering the career world with
mothers around the world who face the same challenges," said Moss.
"For me starting my own business while maintaining my role of mother
and caregiver has been challenging, but very exciting and
challenging. I have come to realize that for me, blending the
two worlds, is more satisfying then just having a career or family.
I think I am more content person, able to be a better mother, and
hopefully easier to get along with," concluded Moss.
Mothers & More
is a non-profit organization that cares for the caregiver. They
provide opportunities for mothers to connect with one another in
ways that assist them in developing their unique identities as women
and help them move more confidently through the transitions that
affect their family, work and life.
